Can Christians play cards? That would be according to who you ask. Some churches years ago, and maybe some now, says it is a sin. Earlier churches were known to put members out of the church just for owning a deck of cards. Growing up we played poker, crazy eights, rummy, old maid, and a variety of other card games. 

 

I am not a gambler but I have been playing Poker since I was about 12 years old. I have played Poker with my wife, friends, children, and grandchildren. With that being said I can say that I have never played or dealt a hand of poker for money. Poker is a very intriguing game that can be enjoyed without gambling. 

    

Gambling is illegal in Alabama. Casino games can be played without gambling and therefore are not illegal. I have dealt plenty of events where the police were present. I do not deal where any gambling is going on because any infraction of gambling laws in any state would jeopardize my Mississippi Gaming Commission License. 

 

So, can we play casino games for points? Absolutely! None of the casino games are illegal. Gambling is illegal, and WE ARE NOT GAMBLING! If anyone feels that this is sin or illegal, I advise that person not to play. I would never suggest to anyone that they do something that they believe is wrong or against the conscience.

The good news is you're not going to lose any money either. And yes, I know you have heard people say that they go to the casino and win a jackpot every time. Not possible.
