Blackjack is a very easy game to learn, and it is one of the most popular in the casinos. It is played on a felted table, which is provided. Chips are casino quality 14-gram chips and the cards used are poker sized playing cards as in the casino. Cards are dealt out of a 6-deck shoe.

 

This is the most popular game at these events because it is so easy to learn and quite fun to play. I tell players all the time that I can have someone playing Blackjack in two minutes or less. It is that easy to learn!

 

Blackjack tables at the casino are at stool height and the players sit on stools while the dealer stands. When doing events at assisted living/nursing homes I use tables that are sitting height that accommodates wheelchair players and others that may have a problem sitting on a stool.  

  

 

Interesting facts: Blackjack is played with poker size cards and poker is played with bridge size cards.
